After 18+ years behind the chair and styling hundreds of brides, i've learned that the most beautiful, LONG-LASTING hairstyles begin long before anyone sits in the chair.
Hair preperation plays a significant role in the final result, and these guidelines have been carefully created to help each and every party memeber enjoy the best possible expereience!

by Arriving on time with a properly prepared canvas for hair, we can utilize the timeline to curate beautiful hairstyles original to each party guest. Of priority is staying on schedule, and ensuring every hairstyle performs exactly as intended from the first photo to the last dance.

How to arrive:
Arrival Time:
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your service time, there's often a chance for the timeline to run ahead of schedule! That's never a bad thing!
Attire:
- Button-down, robe, or zip-up removable top covering, are all appropriate attire to avoid destruction of the completed hairstyle.
Inspiration:
- Do you have an inspired look in mind? Don't forget to pin a few ideas, we can breakdown the rest in the chair! Think about the neckline of your gown, the season of the year, and the hair's natural ability to hold a style.
Clean Hair:
- Please arrive with freshly washed hair that has been shampooed thoroughly. Hair should be free of oils, dry shampoo buildup, styling creams, pomades, or excessive hairsprays. The accumulation of these products can hinder the retention and limit options with inspired hairstyles (leave-in/detangling sprays OK)
Completely Dry:
- Hair must be 100% dry upon arrival. Even slightly damp hair can affect the styling process as well as negatively impact the timeline for services.
Tamed & Detangled:
- Please arrive with hair brushed, detangled, and manageable. If hair is naturally curly, frizzy, or textured - I ask kindly that all please come free of knots and/or excessive tangling. Smooth, manageable hair allows us to spend our time creating a hairstyle rather than preparing the hair and limiting the options with inspired hairstyles.
Hair Extensions:
- If you plan to wear clip-in extensions, please arrive with hair prepped and ready for styling, ie: clean, completely dry, detangled, and ready to install.
- Any extensions that require additional preparation will impact the timeline on the morning of and may result in a limited selection of inspired hairstyles.
